AIMEE WARD (AIMEE 1)
My style of photography has always been different. I would take the most innocent subject and completely turn it into a massacre. I’ve not lived a sheltered life; I’ve just got a very wild imagination. I have always looked deeper into the story of photographs; even though the story might not be crazy I would make some sordid little story up for my own meaning.
Studio work is definitely my forte. I enjoy working with people and I find in a studio it’s a relaxing environment and easy enough to get into a role. Luckily the models I have worked with in the studio were good at playing what roles I needed them to so it wasn’t too hard to direct them.
I think in my journey of being a photographer I have learnt a lot and not just about photography but about myself too. I actually know what sort of photographer I would like to be and how to further my career. It also gives me the freedom to show people what I’m actually about.

AMIEE LOUISE LYONS (AMIEE 2)
My style of photography is simple yet has an impact on the viewer. Studio work is definitely where I excel in my field of work. I enjoy working with people and I find in a studio it’s a relaxing environment and gives me the opportunity to be creative in the style of photography I have chosen. My favourite type of photography is portraiture and black and white.
Photography is my passion and I am a photographer because I want to create a positive impact on people who view my work. My artwork takes an in-depth look at portraiture, still life and the human form.
I always begin a piece by brainstorming the idea and making notes on how I want the final piece to look. I know a piece is done when I look at the piece and automatically feel proud and there is nothing else I can do to make it better. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of pride, a sense of achievement and fulfilment with my work. When people see my work, I would like them to say that my work has had an impact on them as a person and inspired them to pursue their dreams.
